Antonia has practised yoga for over 18 years and completed her RYT 200 Hour course under the guidance of Jacqueline Chiodo in Costa Rica, followed by a further 300 hours in Bali, and has been teaching in London since early 2012.   She is accredited and with Yoga Alliance UK, and also draws inspiration from Adam Husler and Jason Crandell. She came to yoga from an exercise point of view, and deepened her practice whilst at drama school.

Coming out the other side of drama school, having to do jobs unrelated to her acting passion lead to the idea of turning a devoted yoga practice into teaching.  In a world where nothing is certain, particularly in acting, yoga has left her grounded.  Through it she has found strength, flexibility, clarity and is working her way towards the inner calm wished for by all yogis!  It is this that she would like to share in her classes.

Her philosophy is that it’s not how far you can stretch it’s how you stretch; if the alignment is right then the flexibility will come, and meanwhile your body will reap the benefits of being properly aligned.  She has a relaxed, personal approach which is tuned to the students and not to a rigid set of poses.
